Ben Sussman

B.Sc. Physics (University of Waterloo); M.Sc. (University of British Columbia); PhD Physics (Queen's University)

Prof. Sussman leads a group researching Quantum Technology at the National Research Council of Canada and is adjunct Professor in Physics at the University of Ottawa. His research investigates building technologies at the intersection of quantum control and quantum information.

Prof. Sussman studied physics as an undergraduate at the University of Waterloo before obtaining a MSc at the University of British Columbia. He graduated with a PhD in Physics from Queen’s University in 2007. From 2008-2010 he was a Research Fellow at Worcester College, Oxford, and Post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Oxford.
