One of the most exciting prospects for modern science is the potential for deploying quantum-enhanced technologies which use non-classical physics as a fundamental aspect of device operation, delivering outcomes which are difficult, or even impossible, with existing technologies. In the Quantum Technologies group, we aim to develop new devices and ideas based on harnessing quantum control and quantum optical phenomena. Our interests are diverse, including: random number generation, molecular control, and diamond phononics.
