Overview

Leveraging the properties of quantum entangled photons to improve imaging techniques has been an active area of research in recent decades. Sub-shot noise imaging, quantum ghost imaging, imaging with undetected photons, and infra-red microscopy are just a few examples of imaging techniques made possible by the unique properties of entangled photons. Recent advancements in source and detector technologies have made these techniques increasingly practical, with integration timescales improving from hours to minutes or even seconds. In our group, we harness technological advancements in single-photon cameras and quantum light sources to delve into the realms of quantum imaging, quantum microscopy, and quantum remote-sensing applications.
