Nathan Roberts

Nathan joined the group as a postdoctoral fellow in the summer of 2024. He completed both his MPhys and PhD at the University of Bath, where his research focused on combining topological photonics and fiber optics. Specifically, he focused on designing, simulating, and fabricating specialty optical fibers with enhanced robustness to fabrication-induced disorder. Over time, Nathan’s research interests have evolved from protecting delicate states of light in fiber, to reliably and robustly generating them.
