Bio

Nick joined NRC as a research associate in the fall of 2023. He attended the University of Ottawa where he earned his Honours BSc (co-op) in 2018 and his PhD in 2023, both in physics. In this time, his research mainly focused on the development of fiber-based solutions to address shortcomings in time-resolved terahertz spectroscopy systems. This included expanding the THz bandwidth, lowering the overall cost of the system, and increasing the acquisition speed.

In his spare time, Nick likes to play hockey and golf and is a member of far too many fantasy sports leagues.
